Private Hire License Requirements
You need a full GB driver’s licence, and need to have the licence for at least 12 months.
- Valid taxi medical done – in the last 4 months
- Proof of your right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS
- DVLA licence check
- Do the taxi assessment programme
- You need an email address which is yours
- You need to be over 18 years of age
Note: It normally takes approximately 30 working days for your licence if everything is okay.
